EASY’s Coverage In IDMi Magazine: Managing Your Crucial Employee Transfer Window

EASY’s MD has received some great coverage for his views on DM in HR and talent recruitment and retention.

Real Madrid had their sights firmly set on securing goalkeeper Dave De Gea but because paperwork to clinch the deal missed the deadline, the whole thing collapsed, much to the frustration of fans of both the Spanish giants and Man U itself.

While this is the world of sport, the lesson to be learnt reverberates beyond there, EASY believes.

Any organisation responsible for managing human capital must be rigorous in its processes to manage talent acquisition. So if you are concerned that inefficiency in your core personnel processes could be hobbling your business growth, then you should move to a digital back office (if you haven’t already).

Why? Because digital makes the transfer of documents faster, more efficient and easier to track – and prove.

The crux of your writing whilst sounding reasonable originally, did not settle properly with me personally after some time. Somewhere within the paragraphs you actually managed to make me a believer but only for a short while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and one might do well to fill in all those gaps. If you actually can accomplish that, I will definitely be impressed.

Thanks Liana for taking the time to comment. Whilst I agree that there were some as yet undeclared nuances to the player transfer (or in this case non-transfer!) where neither side really seemed to admit culpability, the missed deadline reason for physical contract paperwork to be exchanged is a weak one in this current day and age. I firmly believe that where HR records and contract management systems are deployed this kind of a widespread failure could easily be averted, leaving reputations and transactional value intact.
