Privacy Policy

Statement

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation and replaces the previous Data Protection Directives that were in place. It was approved by the EU Parliament in 2016 and comes into effect on 25th May 2018. GDPR states that personal data should be ‘processed fairly & lawfully’ and ‘collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes’ and that your data is not processed without your knowledge and is only processed with your ‘explicit’ consent.

GDPR covers personal data relating to you. EASY Software is committed to protecting your rights and freedoms with respect to the processing of personal data. The Data Protection Act gives you the right to know what information is held about you and provides a framework to ensure that personal information is handled properly.

EASY Software is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) under registration reference Z2617971.

The updated list of these parties may be requested from the DPO at any time.

Our Data is processed at the DPO’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located. For further information, please contact the DPO.

EASY Software will provide you with information including: purposes for processing your personal data, retention periods for that personal data, and who it will be shared with. 2) The right of access

4) The right to restrict processing

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. This means that you can limit the way we use your data. This is an alternative to requesting the deletion of your data.

EASY Software will not process the restricted data in any way except to store it unless: we have your consent, it is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, it is for the protection of the rights of another person (natural or legal) or it is for reasons of important public interest.

5) The right to data portability

The right to data portability allows you to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. The right to data portability only applies to personal data you have provided to us, where the processing is based on your consent or for the performance of a contract and when processing is carried out by automated means.

EASY Software will provide the personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable form. Open formats include CSV files. Machine readable means that the information is structured so that software can extract specific elements of the data. This enables other organisations to use the data. This information will be provided free of charge.

6) The right to object

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority (including profiling), direct marketing (including profiling) and processing for purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics.
