EASY for OFFICE enhances Microsoft’s leading office software Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 with smart archiving and workflow functionality. The integrated ECM client not only enables storage and retrieval directly from the traditional work environment, it also easily integrates process-related storage of e-mail messages or access to document-based processes.
EASY for OFFICE integrates a complete ECM client concisely as a separate Ribbon with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This allows the easy search/retrieval and editing of archives, as well as the ability to directly process them further into a Microsoft Office program. Additional attachments can be easily appended via Drag&Drop.
The current Office documents can be stored directly in the selected archive – it’s as simple as “Save as…”. But it’s not only Office documents that can be archived in this manner. As with every EASY client, you can create new archive documents simply by dragging any attachments onto the form using the mouse, or by selecting them via a dialog.
